Obituary for Gerry W. Voll

Gerry W. Voll, age 87, of Oak Park, formerly of Wheaton; beloved husband of over 42 years to Linda K. Voll; loving father of James (Sandy) Voll, Cheryl Vacval, Nancy (Robert) Brunn and Sarah Voll; cherished papa of James and Emily Voll, Lauren (Dave) Gray and Taylor Vacval, and Robert, Lexie and Nicholas Brunn, great-grandfather of Oliver and Sawyer Gray and Adalynn Voll; dear brother of the late Norene (the late Donald) Wadolny. Gerry was a 1949 graduate of Proviso High School and served with the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He worked for Illinois Bell (later A.T. & T.) for over 35 years until his retirement in 1990. He loved woodworking, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a dedicated Packers fan Memorial visitation Saturday March 9 from 2 p.m. until time of service 4 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park.
