Obituary for Joseph T. St. Angelo

Joseph T. St. Angelo, 79, of Oak Park, passed away after a brief illness. Beloved husband of the late JoAnn, who utterly fulfilled his life; loving stepfather of David (Anna) Richards and Jennifer (Aaron Dellutri) Richards; adored grandfather of Amelia; dear brother of Ted St. Angelo and Patricia Devlin.

Joe was born and raised in New York City and his urban roots remained with him throughout his lifetime. In his later years he settled in Oak Park, IL where he met his future wife, Joanne.
A man of many natural gifts, Joe was fluent in French and Spanish and had lived in Europe for extended periods, studying at the Sorbonne in Paris and deeply exploring France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Malta. He was especially fond of Paris, Madrid and London. Joe continuously sought to increase his knowledge in art, music and architecture throughout his life, always taking the road less travelled. Blessed with a rich baritone voice, his love of classical and sacred music was a dominant source of joy.

Vaya con Dios, Jose.
Il chante avec les anges.

A luncheon memorial will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Serenitea Tea Cafe, 1046 Pleasant Street, Oak Park. 708-660-9670
