Kathleen M. Feulner, age 71, of Oak Park, formerly of Forest Park passed away on April 23, 2021 following a long battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia disease.
Kathy is survived by Terry Feulner and his wife Joy; Judi Kukral and her husband Bill; nieces Wendy Wyatt and Kim Vetter; many great nieces and nephews and one great, great nephew.
Kathy was born on August 15, 1949 in Chicago to Tony and Lois Feulner and was raised in Cicero. She attended St. Frances of Rome School, Immaculate Heart of Mary High School and Loyola University where she was awarded a degree in Political Science. Kathy had a long and successful career working for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
Kathy enjoyed travelling around the world with friends and family and made friends wherever she went. Kathy was an ardent volunteer at St. Catherine’s Church and over the years would help wherever needed. Kathy always loved music and was a dedicated soprano in both choirs at St. Catherine’s for over 40 years.
Visitation will be Saturday May 22 from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena – St. Lucy Church, 38 N. Austin Blvd., Oak Park. Private interment, Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Catherine of Siena – St. Lucy Church are appreciated.
