Obituary for Mary Ann Hardtke

Mary Ann Hardtke, age 70, lifelong resident of Oak Park passed away on February 29, 2016. She was born at West Suburban in Oak Park on May 6, 1945 to Jim and Ann Raptis. She was a graduate of Oak Park River Forest High School and Culver Stockton College. Long time Holmes School teacher, retired 2006. She loved walking, gardening and enjoying family and friends. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Ray, daughters Erin (Michael) Calabrese and Allison (Eric) Golinvaux, beloved grandsons Mac and Charlie, sister Liz Newell (Jack Kragie) and her nieces Amy (Jay) Freshwater and Christine Newell. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Lee Raptis. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 1 p.m. until time of service 3 p.m. at Drechsler Brown & Williams Funeral Home 203 S. Marion St. Oak Park. Interment private. Donations in her memory to Hephzibah Children's Association are appreciated.
