Patricia Ann Gullo nee Kelleher, 86, formerly of Oak Park and Elmwood Park, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 8, 2016. A cherished and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Samuel Gullo. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 28, 1930, she was a proud graduate of Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart and in 1954 met her future husband Joe on a blind date. Married in 1955, they raised their seven children in Oak Park. Patricia is survived by her children: Ellyn, Karen, Susan (Tim), David (Cindy), Jacquelyn (Joseph), Dr. Gregory (Helen), and Douglas (Kim). She leaves 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who cherished their loving “GG.” She is also survived by many devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins in Chicago and California. Visitation Friday Nov. 11, 3 to 8 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Friends and family will meet at St. Edmund Church, 188 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park on Saturday for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest.
