Obituary for Richard J. "Dick" Dunne

��Richard J. "Dick" Dunne, age 85, lifelong resident of Oak Park passed away August 27, 2015. He was born on April 16, 1930 in Chicago to Robert and Mary Dunne. He was a graduate of Ascension Elementary School and Fenwick High School. He was a veteran U.S. Army. Mr. Dunne received a degree in accounting from Loyola University. He was an accountant for BP Amoco retiring in 1985. He was an avid golfer and diehard Chicago White Sox fan. He was a lifelong parishioner of Ascension Church and was a Eucharisitic Minister at Loyola Medical Center. He was also a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He is survived by his sister-in-law Jane Dunne of Warrenville, IL and his nieces Kathleen (Steven) Wengronowitz of Geneva, IL, Susan (the late Christopher) True of Chicago, Ellen (Edwin) Pelz of Champaign, IL, Margaret (Brian) Creed of Batavia, IL, Maureen (Brian) Grady of Geneva, IL and Jennifer (Joseph) Los of Wheaton, IL, and his nephew Patrick (Christine) Dunne of Elmhurst. He was preceded in death by his siblings Dolores, Robert, Paul and Jerome. Visitation Monday August 31, 4 to 8 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Prayers Tuesday September 1, 9:15 a.m. to Ascension Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred. ��
