Obituary for Riva Loula

Riva Pola Loula née Andreuccetti, age 101, passed away January 10, 2017, beloved wife of the late Frank Loula. She was a loving mother and was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta Gisselman, and survived by her son Gilbert (Jane) Michelotti and son-in-law David Gisselman. She was cherished by her 7 grandchildren: Robert (Cheryl) Michelotti, Jennifer (Chad) Bentley-Michelotti, Matthew Penar, Bradley (Rachel) Penar, Lynn Thompson, Lee (Brett) Reid, and Scott Gisselman; and 11 great-grandchildren: Jonathon, Massimo, & Anthony Michelotti, Noah Bentley, Sawyer & Olivia Penar, Rosie & Annabelle Penar, Loray Thompson, and Paige & Calleigh Reid.

Riva remained active throughout her life, at the Oak Park Arms she volunteered in the Library, was on the Welcoming Committee, sang in the Choir, and was in the Spanish Club; was a deacon at Warren Park Presbyterian Church; member of Berwyn Amvets Auxiliary GI Post 24, past president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 422, and member of CSA Fraternal Life Lodge R.T. Crane, Jr. Lodge #7, and 8 & 40 Marguerite K. Speir Salon #773.

Visitation Sunday, January 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Funeral Monday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Rainbow Hospice, 1550 Bishop Ct., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056
