Dear aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many. Close friend and confidant of numerous others. Born in the Marquette Park neighborhood of Chicago, she was the the youngest of three daughters. From ages 3-10 the Brown family resided in Sioux City, IA. Upon returning to Chicago, Roberta attended Bennett Elementary and Fenger Academy during which time she met her former husband, Robert L. Sullivan. Even though their marriage eventually dissolved, their connection to each other remained strong, to the point where their departure from this life to the next was exactly five years apart on June 18. After her role as homemaker, Roberta spent many years working in nursing for Cook County's Oak Forest Hospital. She was a great lover of animals with her favorite dog being a white Llasa Apso/Bijon Frise mix named Seamus. She also enjoyed working in the creative arts. Her many ceramic creations were made during her volunteer work at Alene's Studio at the Oak Park Arms. They were then sold to support the many good deeds of Oak Park Senior Services.
