Sally Ann Kates nee Geyer, age 86, of Oak Park; beloved wife of Christ Peter Kates; loving mother of Peter (Sharon), Patricia (John) Perkins, Gerald (Mary) and Dorothy Kates; cherished grandmother of Rane, Jerry Jr., Blade, Emily, Krist, Elena, Hank, Daniel, and John; devoted daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy Geyer. Sally was a registered nurse at West Suburban Hospital and retired after 30 years of service. Visitation Wednesday 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Funeral Service Wednesday 11:30 a.m. at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Ave., Chicago. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove.
