Thomas J. Joslin, age 87, of Elmwood Park died July 19, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Married for 61 years to the love of his life, Veronica née Hanley; loving father of Jennifer “Jena”, Maureen (the late Jeff) McCoy, Patrick (Wendy), Erin (Ron) Oesterlein and Peter (Colleen Morrissey); proud grandfather “Boppy” to Erin (Brian) Turner, Emmett, Chris and Connor McCoy, Ian and Ben Joslin, Brody and Keelin Oesterlein, and Fiona and Thomas Joslin. Great-grandfather to Charlotte and Nate Turner; dear brother of Chuck (Margaret), Mary Catherine (the late KJ) Phelan and John (Carol) and the late Barbara Wilkie and Bill (Mary Jane) Joslin. Tom was born on January 22, 1934, to the late William Murray and Mary Catherine née Kallal Joslin. A spirited, kind and generous man, Tom was a natural athlete who loved running and golf, spending time with good friends and his family. Growing up in Oak Park, Tom attended St. Giles Grammar school, Oak Park River Forest HS and Loras College. He built a long and successful career in the insurance Industry retiring in 2011 from Aon after 50 Years of service. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday July 23 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Prayers 9 15 a.m. Saturday to St. Vincent Church River Forest for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
