Obituary for Yolanda F. Hall

Yolanda "Bobby" Hall, nee Farkas, age 93, of Oak Park, died peacefully in her home on June 19; beloved wife of the late Charles A. Hall; loving mother of Toni (John) Henle, Nancy (Ben) Brooks and Charles E. Hall; cherished grandmother of Liana (Brad) Brooks-Rubin, Crystal Henle, Luke (Ioana) Brooks and Mark Henle (Lydia Petersen); great-grandmother of Eliav, Adiv, Scarlett and Alexander; dear sister of the late Helen (the late Fred) Schultz; devoted daughter of the late Louis (nee Farkas) Freeman and Helen, nee Ferenczy, Freeman. Hall was a research nutritionist and an assistant professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Rush University. A lifelong Chicago resident, she was a passionate advocate for labor, peace and social justice causes. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
