Obituary for Sabina D. Ott

Sabina D. Ott, age 62, of Oak Park, IL, formerly of Los Angeles, CA; beloved wife of John M. Paulett; loving step-mother of Kelly (Craig) Mitchell; cherished grandmother of Hannah Mitchell; devoted daughter of the late Aaron and Rita Ott. Sabina is also survived by Alice and Saul. Sabina was a graduate of San Francisco Art Institute where she also received her MFA. She was Chair Emeritus and Professor of Fine Art at Columbia College, Chicago. Visitation 2 p.m. until time of service 6 p.m. Saturday July 28, 2018 at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Assata’s Daughters of Chicago (assatasdaughters.org) or Black Youth Project 100 (byp100.org) are appreciated.
